This week the headline is Sindh: the Sindh Public Service Commission has issued Consolidated Advertisement No. 05/2026 with 54 posts across five provincial departments. Alongside that, two reminders: PPSC’s mega Advertisement 10/2026 (1,992 posts) closes in three days, and FPSC’s Phase-3/2026 written tests begin on 10 October. Everything below is summarised and structured in our own format — always cross-check with the official advertisement before applying.
SPSC Consolidated Advertisement 05/2026 — 54 Posts (Announced 25 September 2026)
The Sindh Public Service Commission has invited online applications for 54 posts ranging from BPS-16 to BPS-18 across five Sindh government departments. Applications close on 23 October 2026 — manual or hard-copy applications will not be accepted.
Posts and vacancies
- Deputy Director (I.T), BPS-18 — 1 post — Enquiries & Anti-Corruption Establishment, Sindh
- Assistant Director (I.T), BPS-17 — 1 post — Enquiries & Anti-Corruption Establishment, Sindh

- Assistant, BPS-16 — 10 posts — Law, Parliamentary Affairs & Criminal Prosecution Department, Sindh
Eligibility
Each post carries its own qualification, experience and age-limit criteria set in the official ad: medical officers require an MBBS with relevant registration, the IT posts require a relevant IT/computer science qualification, and the Assistant posts require a bachelor’s-level qualification. Candidates must hold the required qualification and experience by the closing date — and note that your domicile, PRC, quota, age, qualification, experience and exam centre cannot be changed after the closing date, so fill the form carefully.
Domicile and quota
This is a Sindh provincial recruitment — Sindh domicile and PRC are required, with the usual provincial quota distribution applied across the posts.
How to apply
Apply online only through the official SPSC website at spsc.gov.pk using the “Available Jobs” feature. Incorrect CNIC numbers, wrong dates of birth and incomplete applications lead to rejection, so double-check every field before submitting.
Application fee
Rs. 500 per post, paid by generating a PSID and depositing through the 1 Bill invoice/service option.
Closing date
23 October 2026.
Expected written-test format
SPSC’s standard screening for these posts is a one-paper MCQ written test (100 marks, 90 minutes, largely subject-related questions). The exact syllabus for each post is issued by the Commission on its official website, so keep checking spsc.gov.pk for the test schedule and syllabus.
How to prepare
Our free Jobs Test Preparation course includes practice quizzes in the General Knowledge, English, Islamiat, Pak Studies and Current Affairs question banks — the exact areas that make up the general-ability portion of commission screening tests like this one.
Reminder: PPSC Advertisement 10/2026 Closes 5 October
If you haven’t applied yet, time is running out: PPSC’s Consolidated Advertisement No. 10/2026 — 1,992 posts including Charge Nurse (Female) BS-16, Veterinary Officers and Assistant Directors — closes on 5 October 2026. The application fee is Rs. 600 per post, deposited via ATM, mobile banking, internet banking, JazzCash, EasyPaisa or UPAISA against the generated PSID. Coming Up: FPSC Phase-3/2026 Written Tests Start 10 October
Applicants who submitted forms under FPSC’s Consolidated Advertisement Phase-3/2026 should note that the written examinations are tentatively scheduled to begin on 10 October 2026. FPSC has moved to an MCQ-based screening pattern for general recruitment, and candidates should keep checking fpsc.gov.pk for their roll number slips and the detailed test schedule. Our FPSC general recruitment test guide covers the new pattern, syllabus and free practice.
Prepare With Free Practice Tests
Every commission screening — PPSC, SPSC, FPSC — rewards the same core skill: fast, accurate MCQ solving under a 90-minute clock. Our Jobs Test Preparation course offers free timed practice across five question banks: General Knowledge, English, Islamiat, Pak Studies and Current Affairs. An honest note: for NTS-style aptitude tests (NAT/GAT), our banks cover only the English and General Knowledge portions — the quantitative and analytical sections are not covered here, so don’t treat them as complete NAT/GAT preparation.
Ads to Watch Next
No new FPSC consolidated advertisement has been issued yet this week — the next phase will be announced on fpsc.gov.pk in due course — and PPSC’s next round (Advertisement 11/2026) is expected once the current cycle closes. Check the official portals weekly rather than relying on second-hand summaries.
