Welcome to this week’s government job roundup on CrackExamPrep. An honest note first: no brand-new mega advertisement was issued by PPSC, FPSC, SPSC, NTS or OTS in the past seven days, so this edition is a status-and-watch roundup — the biggest live ad (SPSC’s 54 posts), the FPSC written tests that begin on Monday, and the deadlines you must not miss. Everything below is summarised and structured in our own format — always cross-check with the official advertisement before applying.

FPSC Phase-III/2026: Admission Certificates Out — Tests Start Monday 12 October

This is the week’s biggest development for federal-job aspirants. The Federal Public Service Commission has placed the online admission certificates (roll number slips) for the General Recruitment Phase-III/2026 written tests on its website. The tests run from 12 to 19 October 2026 across 13 cities.

How to download your slip: open https://www.fpsc.gov.pk, go to the Schedule menu and choose Admission Certificates, then click “Online Admission Certificates General Recruitment Phase III/2026”. Enter your CNIC number, find your case (you get one certificate per post if you applied for more than one), and print it on A4 paper. FPSC does not post or email the certificate — downloading it yourself is your own responsibility.

What to carry on test day: the printed slip plus your original CNIC (or passport). Without both, you will not be allowed into the hall. Mobile phones and electronic devices are strictly banned — a candidate found with one is disqualified from the test and may be permanently debarred from future FPSC examinations.

Postponement alert: FPSC has postponed the tests for some Board of Investment cases (17 posts across 5 cases, BS-16 to BS-20), so check the official Phase-III timetable to confirm whether your case is affected.

Test pattern: MCQ-based screening for the general recruitment cases. Our FPSC general recruitment test guide covers the new pattern, syllabus and free practice.

Domicile and quota: Sindh domicile and PRC are required, with the usual provincial quota distribution across the posts. All qualifications and experience must be held by the closing date — and your domicile, PRC, quota, age, qualification, experience and exam centre cannot be changed after the closing date, so fill the form carefully.

How to apply and the fee: Apply online only through the “Available Jobs” feature at https://www.spsc.gov.pk (the official SPSC mobile app works too). The application fee is Rs. 500 per post, paid by generating a PSID and depositing through the 1Bill invoice/service option.

Expected written-test format: SPSC’s standard screening is a one-paper MCQ test of 100 marks in 90 minutes, largely on subject-related questions. The Commission issues the exact syllabus and schedule on its official website, so keep checking spsc.gov.pk before each test.

CSS MPT 2027: Screening Test Tomorrow (10 October)

CSS aspirants, take note: FPSC has released the online admission certificates for the CSS 2027 MPT (MCQs-Based Preliminary Test), and the test is scheduled for Saturday, 10 October 2026. If you registered, download your slip from fpsc.gov.pk today and read your centre and timing twice. Separately, the CSS 2026-cycle MPT was held on 2 October, with the result expected around 17 October; qualifiers will apply for the written examination between 30 October and 14 November. Our CSS test format page explains the full journey from MPT to the written exam.

Registered candidates should note that the NTS GAT General (GAT-G-VII) session is scheduled for Sunday, 11 October 2026, with the result expected around 19 October — registration for this session has closed.
